Brandon Reeves

US Math

Mr. Reeves has been teaching mathematics since 2010. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics from Towson University.  After graduation, Mr. Reeves continued his passion for math and went on to teach and tutor at the Community College of Baltimore County for several years. With all of his experience, in January 2017 he found his calling at Perry Hall Christian School. He truly feels that his mathematics ability is a gift from God and finds great happiness sharing his love of the discipline with his students.

Mr. Reeves lives each day to the fullest and does his best to enjoy each precious moment in life. In the summer of 2010, Mr. Reeves went skydiving for the first time and describes it as one of the most amazing experiences of his life. “Looking at God’s great big beautiful earth from almost 3 miles in the sky, as you jump out of a perfectly good airplane to fall towards it, is truly breathtaking.”

When he is not in the classroom or preparing lesson plans, Mr. Reeves enjoys spending time at amusement parks and riding roller-coasters, enjoying spicy food, exercising and planning his next road trip. Mr. Reeves finds brain-challenging puzzles such as Sudoku to be very relaxing and therapeutic.

One of Mr. Reeves favorite and most inspiring bible verses comes from Romans 12:7. “If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.”
