Mrs. Dayton has been teaching math since 2012. After graduating from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Secondary Education and Spanish, she taught in an Illinois public high school for three years. There she coached high school cheerleading, girls track, advised the class council of 2016, and was part of the process of writing a new mathematics curriculum. Getting married brought her to Michigan where she taught middle school for a year and a half when her husband received a job offer in Maryland. At the end of February 2017, Mrs. Dayton came to PHCS to teach mathematics.
When Mrs. Dayton is not teaching she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Ian, and their daughter, Sibylla, as well as watching movies, playing board games, and traveling!
